Setting the Scene
This former YMCA building in Northeast Minneapolis needed to accommodate a unique set of new businesses. Its bones were a mix of charming, historic features and rough, unseemly imperfections. The range in both conditions and tenants meant that a blanket approach wouldn’t work.
Making It Happen
We carefully inspected the building and created custom design solutions for each tenant — preserving charming elements like exposed brick in some areas and concealing blemishes in others. We also ensured that our designs dignified each tenant’s individuality. Our multifaceted approach ensured that each tenant found the perfect home, no matter if they were a yoga instructor, investment firm, family counselor, or graphic designer.
